Smart DIN Thermostat. Heatit DIN Smart Thermostat is an electronic multifunction thermostat designed for electrical heating. The thermostat can be controlled through Z-Wave® via a Z-Wave gateway. It can also be controlled using Modbus RS-485 and the buttons on the front of the thermostat. The thermostat features a user-friendly interface.

The Heatit DIN Smart Thermostat is a versatile solution for both residential and industrial use. It functions as a standard floor heating thermostat, offering simple temperature control with three modes: Heat, Cool, and Eco. With the DIN Smart Thermostat you get precise temperature control for a variety of applications.

The thermostat clicks easily onto a standard DIN rail and can be installed in the main switchboard. The thermostat has connection for two external temperature sensors. The Heatit DIN Smart Thermostat features active power metering, providing real-time information about your power consumption. It also allows you to manually set the power metering value when connected to a contactor.

The device is equipped with ZeroX™ technology, which ensures the relay switches at 0V when turning on and off. This technology significantly extends the thermostat’s lifespan.

The Heatit DIN Smart Thermostat has been developed for central control systems, with all features easily accessible via MODBUS RS-485.

The thermostat is designed specifically for resistive loads. When controlling large resistive, capacitive, or inductive loads, it is essential to use an appropriate contactor to protect the thermostat from excessive load to ensure safe operation.

The thermostat can withstand a resistive load of up to 16A/3600W at 230VAC. For loads above 13A, we recommend using a contactor.

Flexible Control and Integration - The Heatit DIN Smart Thermostat supports Z-Wave® and MODBUS 485. This gives the user flexibility to tailor the thermostat to their smart home or industrial solutions.

Versatile Temperature Control - With 3 operating modes – Heat, Cool, and Eco.

Easy Installation and Maintenance - The thermostat can be mounted on a standard DIN rail, and it offers the option to connect an external antenna (optional accessory) for improved signal strength.

Hysteresis - With hysteresis regulation enabled, the thermostat will regulate based solely on temperature. It turns on and off according to the hysteresis value in relation to the setpoint.

PWM/Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) - With PWM regulation enabled, the thermostat will regulate based on cycles. It turns on and off in percentage intervals over the course of the cycle.

ZeroX™ Detection – The thermostat features ZeroX™ technology, which ensures the relay switches on and off at 0V, significantly extending the relay's lifespan.

Associations (Z-wave) – The thermostat allows you to create associations that make it a master thermostat. It can control up to 10 thermostats and 10 external relays, such as wall plugs, providing flexible and efficient control of multiple devices.

Open Window Detection - With open window detection, the thermostat detects when a window is open and automatically cuts off heating to prevent energy waste during rapid temperature drops.

Active Power Monitoring – Get real-time insights into energy consumption with active power monitoring for better control and cost efficiency.

MODBUS - The thermostat supports a large MODBUS register for easy integration into larger control systems.

Overload Protection – The thermostat is equipped with built-in safety features such as overload protection and overheat protection for safe use.

Firmware Updates (OTA) – Easy access to firmware updates to ensure the device is always up-to-date with the latest features.
