Food-approved parallel-resistant heating cable for frost protection of water pipes.

The heating cable is delivered in 10W/m. (Special order only!)
The parallel-resistive heating cable can be purchased by the meter and cut to the desired length. This provides good flexibility.

The parallel-resistive heating cable has a constant power per meter regardless of length and temperature. The heating cable can be cut with a distance of 1.0 meters (this varies on the different effects). The heating element in a parallel-resistive heating cable consists of a resistance wire which is spun around insulated bus conductors. There are contact points on the bus conductors (these are marked as dents in the side of the cable) where the resistance wire has contact with alternately right (L) and left (N) bus conductor. The parallel-resistive heating cable provides a fixed power per meter regardless of the ambient temperature. It has no inrush current and can therefore be connected in relatively long lengths.

Thermo-Floor AS carries 2 different types of parallel-resistant heating cables. One variant is used for removing snow and ice on roofs and in gutters / downspouts, the other is designed for maintenance of the temperature of various pipes in low, medium and high temperature class.
